TINAPA EASTER FAMILY FAIR II

NovaRosta will be hosting a family fun fair/football championship for all to enjoy at Tinapa Water Park on Monday, April 9, 2012. 1pm – 6pm

There will be exciting activities for everyone to enjoy, including:
-          Horse Riding

-          Cheer-leading

-          Family football Championship

-          Penalty shoot-out and crossbar challenge
-          Football Juggling and a lot of entertainment for the whole family...!

We will also have:
-          Face painters
-          Giant bouncy castle
-          Telly Toby, Avatar and Spider man mascots (among others) for that extra-ordinary kiddies fun experience.

The football championship is a great chance for mums to get the family together and enjoy the atmosphere of a Championship match first hand this Easter.

Each team will be comprised of 7 players (including 1 goalkeeper) and each team is allowed to make 2 substitutions.

The winning family of the match will go home with a WASHING MACHINE & FREE WEEKEND ACCOMMODATION AT TINAPA LAKESIDE HOTEL while the second place winner will enjoy FREE WEEKEND ACCOMODATION AT TINAPA LAKESIDE HOTEL (breakfast inclusive) AND AN EASTER FAMILY LUNCH TREAT.

The Minister of Communication Technology Mrs. Omobola Johnson has said that the signing of MoU with the Cross Rivers State Government will leverage part of the world class infrastructure and services of the Tinapa Business and leisure resort in Calabar to create a knowledge city.

Cross River House Of Assembly Special Committee Poised To Promote Business And Alleviate The Challenges Facing Tinapa

The State House of Assembly recently set up a special committee to liaise with the management of Tinapa business resort in identifying the challenges facing the multi-billion Naira resort, its ownership, the debt profile and some of the key issues affecting business activities of the world class infrastructure.

Speaking earlier, the chairman of the special committee Chief Jacob Enyia, said that the committee was set up to support Tinapa and obtain relevant information about the status of the resort, the shareholders level of investment and the investors, its indebtedness as at April 2007 when it was commissioned and the current indebtedness, how much it had generated and the challenges facing its operation.

Essentially the committee seeks to identify what kind of support is required to facilitate its business and leisure activities.

Minister Of Trade and Investment Flags Off Nationwide Tour of Free Zones With a Vist to Tinapa

The recently appointed Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga on Saturday, 13th August, 2011 embarked on a visit to the Tinapa Free Zone and Resort in commencement of his nationwide tour of Free Zones in the country.

He was received upon arrival by members of the Tinapa Management led by the Managing Director, Arch. Bassey Ndem who thereafter conducted the Minister and his entourage on an extensive tour of Tinapa facilities.

At a Media parley after the tour, the Minister explained that his visit to the Resort was part of his official tour of all Free Trade Zones in the country with a view to assessing the progress so far made in the implementation of the Federal Government’s Free Zone policies. He reiterated his Ministry’s intention to follow up with measures that would enhance the performance and productivity of Free Zones as well as ensure their contribution to national development.
