The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council announces the 34th edition of the Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE 2010), scheduled to be held between 31st July and 7th August 2010, in Tinapa - Calabar, Nigeria.
NAICE is the largest upstream Oil and Gas event in Africa, held annually in Nigeria and attracts industry practitioners at all levels, as well as key stakeholders. NAICE 2010 is the industry’s opportunity to learn, debate and challenge ideas to chart the right course towards a sustainable future for the industry.
The Theme for NAICE 2010 is “Meeting The World’s Energy Demand and Supply Mix: The Role of Africa”. The event will explore the critical role of investment, technology, legal and political framework as well as the role that national oil companies can play, especially against the backdrop of the current world drive to reduce carbon emissions.
Two panel discussion topics will be covered during the plenary sessions for NAICE 2010:
